The state’s only bare-root hydroponic grower of medical marijuana, Hanging Gardens uses a custom 19 component-nutrient blend to grow plants exclusively in water, creating a sterile environment free of dirt, mold, and pests. Our 16-step refinement process meticulously removes undesirable compounds while retaining the cannabinoids and terpenes that give our products their unique, authentic flavor.

We flash freeze our plants at the time of harvest. Other grower/processors typically hang their plants in the drying and curing process, which allows heat and oxygen to break down phytochemicals such as THC. Hanging Gardens prevents such chemical reactions by flash freezing plants at harvest to produce a medicine that is chemically more similar to the living plant. Throughout the manufacturing process, we prevent the degradation of the flower’s desired compounds by precisely controlling temperature and by eliminating the extract’s exposure to oxygen.
